The cord has broken, and I don’t know how to replace it

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about your cantilever umbrella.
I suggest having a look at this discussion - How do I fix the winder on my outdoor umbrella? by @janee. In the discussion, I suggested several steps on how to possibly replace the cord in a folding umbrella. But this is on the condition that you are willing to give it a try. The key to the repair job is to record all the steps on your phone, in this manner you won't get confused when the time comes to reassemble it. My best advice is to have a friend with you as you disassemble the umbrella, you'll thereby have a second set of eyes observing the process.
