how to leave a walker in a car without damaging it

My car lives on a cement floor, uncovered car park. I need to leave a Walker in it between trips. I am concerned re the heat in the sealed car damaging the rubber, foam bits. Any thoughts? I can’t carry it up & down 20 steps each time.
thank you.

Re: how to leave a walker in a car without damaging it

Hi @Lynda2021

I hear your predicament and understand your needs here.

First try to store it on the shady side of your car out of the direct sun through the car window.

Optionally cover it in a blanket or if you want to try a foil space blanket you know the silver foil used in first aid.  They are at bunnings for $4 each buy two in case one rips.

Covering it up will also help keep prying eyes off it.

If it is safe to do so open the car window a half inch just to stop the air temperature building up to extremes away from the side weather (storms come from in your area) .

Hope this helps you out a little @Lynda2021

Re: how to leave a walker in a car without damaging it

Hello @Lynda2021

I believe that leaving the walker inside the car will be perfectly fine. The rubber and foam bits of your walker should be able to withstand the heat inside the car. If you wish to protect it further, you can cover it with an old blanket or towel so that is protected from direct sunlight.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric
