Hi all, we have a cracked deck board as shown in the photo. Is it still repairable or replacing is required here?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @antta. It's sensational to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about repairing a decking board.
If you're able to obtain another length of the same board, replacement would be the best option for a more seamless repair. Before proceeding, it’s important to investigate why the board cracked. It could be due to a defect in the material, or there might be an issue with the support from the frame, which could require adjustments. If you prefer not to replace the board, you could try gluing the crack and then filling it, but keep in mind that the repair will likely be noticeable and may not restore the deck's original look or strength.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Mitchell, thanks much for your reply. Do you have any recommendation on which products to be used for gluing and filling?
You could use this polyurethane glue and then a timber filler in the closest matching colour @antta.
