close garden hose opening

Happy new year, 2025!

Iam planning to close this garden hose opening which Iam not using. Any thoughts on various ways to do it?

Happy New  Year too

Once the  hose pulled out that looks like a 40mm to 50mm  pvc  pipe

So the neatest way is to just Buy a 40mm End cap in plumbing section and push it on un glued  in case you change your mind later

There is a more square shaped cap if  you  like.

You should measure the outside diameter of the pipe  just to confirm what size cap you need  as all the sizes are avaliable.

Great advice already from @Jewelleryrescue! A cap would be the easiest option and allow you to use the pipe at a later date if needed.
