What timber to use for a sandpit?

Hello Community Members 😁, I was just wondering what timber I can get from Bunnings to build a metre X metre child's sandpit with a lid.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Raymo16. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about Sienna sleepers.

Your best bet would be to paint the sleepers with a couple of coats of quality exterior paint, such as Dulux Weathershield. That will effectively seal them and prevent skin contact.
