I have retaining walls and a pool surround made with coffee rocks. In some places the mortar has broken away or loose and needs replacing. Would readymix mortar be suitable and easy for a 76 year old woman to use, and what product would be best.
Apologies for the delay in responding to your question, @Fossil1. I'm sure our resident Bunnings D.I.Y. experts will be happy to provide some suggestions on which product to use as soon as they can.
Also calling upon the ever-helpful @Jewelleryrescue, @JacobZ95 and @DIY4Knuckleheds in case they have any thoughts in the meantime.

Hi @Fossil1,
I'd recommend using Dingo 10kg Mortar Mix and a small amount of Dulux Avista Oxide 1kg Sandstone Cement Colouring. The mortar is a grey colour, and the oxide will help replicate the sandstone-coloured pointing you have around the rocks.
Mixing the mortar, oxide, and water is not much more difficult than mixing a cake batter. Mix the ingredients in a container until a smooth consistency is achieved. If you've ever iced a cake, filling the gaps in the rocks and smoothing the mortar to a nice finish will be no problem at all. You might like to pick up a small pointing trowel to make the application process easier.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thankyou, but seems Bunnings no longer stock Dingo products here in WA. What about Westbuild they seem to have that.
Hi @Fossil1,
Sorry about that. The Westbuild 9.5kg General Purpose Dry Mix Grey Mortar will be fine.
