Hi,
I am looking at installing the Protector pool fence. I noticed the instructions for the in ground posts say dig a 600mm hole which would only then leave 1200mm above the ground.
But normally there is a 100mm gap max between the bottom of the panel. This seems to be allowed for on the flanged post which is 1300mm but not the in ground one.
Am I missing something?
Cheers
Andrew
Actually I think if I understand correct posts should be 100mm from the bottom of the hole so this would make sense and work out then
Hello @AndrewSl
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your pool fence post height.
Your analysis is correct, even though the hole is 600mm deep, the post is only sunk in at 500mm leaving that 100mm gap you were referring to.
