What are your Australia Day plans?

More than any other day on the Australian calendar, January 26 has become synonymous with picking up the tongs and having a barbecue. 

What are your Australia Day plans this year? Do you always have a barbie with friends or family? And what's on the menu this year?

I like my Australia Day celebrations to involve the 3 B's:

• Beachhouse
• Beers
• BBQ

I've taken the Monday and Wednesday off and I'm heading down to Dromana for a 5 day weekend. I can't wait!

I can't go an Australia Day without celebrating the Hottest 100. We'll be having an all-inclusive BBQ (need to accomodate for our vegan + vegetarian pals!) in the courtyard and listening to Triple J.

There's also plans for a blow up pool! Let's hope the weather holds out...

Had a good day. Didn't fire up the barbie but had brunch with friends at our place and then drinks in the afternoon and some lazy takeaway. Am now watching the cricket...

I plan to paint the bathroom. It is very much overdue! I think its nearly a year since I replaced the fan in my shower and took some of the paint and plaster off. Last weekend I filled all the gaps so it is now finally ready to paint over. I wanted to do it in winter but the weather was too cold.
