Upcycled mosaic table

designed a mosaic table top on an old rusty metal round table. I wanted to turn someone else's junk into a work of art.

Steps

Step 1

draw up template design and choice of tiles

Step 2

start gluing using selleys roof and gutter silicone

 

Step 3

mix grout with additive to grout between all the tiles and finish off by polishing with a cloth

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community and many thanks for sharing this beautiful, tiled mosaic outdoor table.

You set out with the goal of creating a work of art from someone else's junk and you've absolutely smashed your goal. It looks absolutely fantastic.

There'd have to be close to, if not more than a thousand individual tiles all placed, evenly spaced and glued in place. The time and focus it would've taken to create the mandala that you have is truly remarkable.
