After having a professional install around 70 sqm of fake grass in the entertaining area of my back yard I've decided to tackle an install down the side of my house on my own. So I thought I'd share pics, successes, fails and learnings along the way.
Day 1 - Prep
I cleared out the sand down the side of my house removing big rocks and other debris before raking it and roughly levelling it to 100mm below the intended finishing height of the grass.
Then it was time to get the crackdust in, compact it and level it out.
Day 2 - Install (begins Sat 19/12)
I love the look of artificial turf! Can't wait to see how it turns out
I haven't forgotten you guys. I got the job done on the weekdn but due to "Xmas" shenanigans by phone that I took the photos on went swimming and needless to say, has ceased to exist.
However I do have this one (I'll share more shortly) which shows a tricky little spot I dealt with. Can you spot the join?
I just put this post up about a little trick to joining fake grass.
