gate hardware in security gate seems to have slipped in the cavity and i cant line up new hardware, ive tapped with a mallet and it doesn’t budge

I believe we'll need some more information for our helpful members to assist you. Could we trouble you for an image of the security gate and the last known location of the hardware?
