Hi folks, I'd love a recommendation for a solid cement mix to render over these poolside pavers. I have concrete paint already but i'd love to know a solid floor mix recipe that I can use! TIA.

Hi @jimbarry41,
It would be helpful to know more about what you're looking to achieve with this project. Are you aiming to cover the pavers to create a smooth surface, or are you looking to change their appearance entirely?
Applying a cement flow coat directly over the pavers can be problematic, as the thin layer is likely to crack over time due to movement and the varying nature of the paver substrate. For a more durable solution, you could consider removing the pavers and pouring a concrete slab in their place. This would provide a solid base for either painting or applying another surface finish.
Alternatively, if you're happy with the current structure but just want a different look, you could tile over the existing pavers with a tile or paver that matches your desired aesthetic. This approach maintains the integrity of the existing surface while giving you the flexibility to customize its appearance.
Please let me now if you have any questions.
