Patio timber vs BOWMAC B135 Hot Dip Galvanised Post And Bearer Bracket
Hi,
Im looking for the correct post and bearer bracket.
My pillars are 135 x 135 x h.
The timber needs to fit into the post bearer bracket but i can not see the ID of the bearer bracket.
Any advise please?
Thank you
Chris

Re: Patio timber vs BOWMAC B135 Hot Dip Galvanised Post And Bearer Bracket
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @chrisswart. It's marvellous to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about post supports.
The BOWMAC B135 Hot Dip Galvanised Post And Bearer Bracket suit a 90mm post. 90mm is the max post size for their U supports. For a 135mm post, you'd need to go for their BOWMAC B197 Hot Dip Galvanised Post And Bearer Bracket, and even then, the bottom plate is only 92 x 80mm. Is this a structural application?
You might wish to speak with a helpful team member at your local store's Special Orders desk so they can see what is available form our suppliers in your location.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
