Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Beekeeper1. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about tile adhesives.
For your alfresco tiling project, Davco 20kg SMP Evo Tile Adhesive would be ideal. It’s a flexible, cement-based adhesive specifically designed for premium stone, marble, and porcelain tiles. Given that you’re laying large 600x600 tiles, it's perfect due to its superior non-slump properties, making it suitable for large format tile and stone applications. Since your slab has been down for 18 months, it’s important to ensure the surface is clean and properly prepared before tiling.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

thanks for that, what other preparation is advised for the surface as its flat and brushed finished concrete.
thanks
Once you've cleaned the surface, you'll need to apply Davco Ultraprime Surface Primer @Beekeeper1. That's the only preparation needed prior to laying the tiles.
You can find further details for the application on the Davco product page.

thanks for that, would you know how much adhesive we will need for 70m2 of laying ? how many bags approximately
thanks
Hi @Beekeeper1,
One 20kg bag applied as directed will cover 6-7m2. So, for your 70m2, you'll need approximately 12 bags. You might like to pick up a couple extra, which you can return if they are not required.
