How to stop water ingress under house through external brick wall?

The external wall is single brick, I am getting water coming through the brickwork to crawl space under house when it rains .

I can get to both positive and negative sides of the water transfer.

Is there a suitable product to seal the wall on the outside or inside.

the upper part of external wall is rendered. So I think water ingress is through bottom where wall is not rendered and is covered by soil.

appreciate your suggestions

thanks.

8mm gravel would be perfect, Mahon (@approachmhn).

Thank you @Dave-1 .

i already found one now 😊

i see some water is getting through this crack seen on rendered wall when I hosed down water from the top of verandah.

Planning to seal it with

Sika-11FC.

is there any waterproof paint which is breathable?

Re: how to stop water ingress under house through external brick wall

Can someone please suggest on a good solution to stop water getting through crack as mentioned in above post?

it rained a lot on Monday, I see no water pooling under house after putting ag drain except some leakage through rendered crack.

TIA

Re: how to stop water ingress under house through external brick wall

The crack is very fine, @approachmhn, but you could attempt to fill it with the Sika product. It might be best to apply it along the crack and then smooth it out with your finger, creating a bandaid over the top of it.

Re: how to stop water ingress under house through external brick wall

Thanks @MitchellMc .

Will do as suggested.

All the rain water will flow down the wall. So, once Sika dries, is it ok to apply

Crommelin Natural Finish Penetrating Sealer And Water Repellent
or is it ok?

Re: how to stop water ingress under house through external brick wall

Good Evening @approachmhn

I am a little confused. There is no water under the house which is what you want

You are concerend about that fine crack allowing water under your house?

Id hold off on buying thats sealer until we know what your concern is.

Re: how to stop water ingress under house through external brick wall

Do you want to apply that product on the painted outside of the wall or the non-painted inside under the house @approachmhn? That product needs to be painted on a porous surface like brick or concrete, not a painted surface.

Re: how to stop water ingress under house through external brick wall

@MitchellMc it’s not painted. The concrete render itself was white.
