How to stop paint particles getting in rain water tank during stripping?
Some of my weatherboards are pretty bad and need to be painted but I’m worried that sanding or heat gun stripping preparation could get particles in the rain water tank via roof run off.
Any ideas in how to avoid it?

Re: How to stop paint particles getting in rain water tank during stripping
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @skeet. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about sanding weatherboards.
It sounds like your best bet would be to isolate the collection system and disconnect it during the renovation process. If the gutters are not connected to the rainwater tank you'll be able to flush fresh water over the roof and through the gutters until the particles are removed. That way, you'll be able to complete your project and clean the area thoroughly before reconnecting gutters to the rainwater tank.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
