How to stop condensation on a single skin patio?

Hi all 

I have stratco single skin roof , im enclosing with aluminium shutters, and cladding on the underside of the roof .

I purchased  sarking from Bunnings, however I had to use aluminium battens for strength, the last 3 battens were the screws are  , it is water drops on the battens , not sure how to fix

help please 👍

Thanks for your help 

I purchased a waterproof paint on 

if it doesn’t work I’ll add the sarking over the battens, probably worried about nothing

My apologies for the late reply. I was racking my brain on a way to insulate the batten and still allow you to glue the panel on. I agree with Mitchell's suggestion and that is insulate the battens and skip the glue and just attach the panels with screws.

I put water proofing on it yesterday day , made no difference.

im going do the insulation over the battens.

Hi @pjs68 I did the exact same project as yourself last summer at a mates place. I essentially followed the same advice as @MitchellMc has provided. Those sound panels ae only MDF under a very thin timber look skin, so its also very important to both prime and flash all the ends to prevent moisture reach it. I then ran low voltage dimmable strip lights within the black cavities.
