How to replace bricked-in letterbox?

My old bricked in letterbox needs replacing. It only has the opening left and that has fallen out as well. 2 questions, are the ones you buy adjustable? They all seem to be too deep. Also what can I secure it with? I dont want to use concrete.

Re: replace bricked in letterbox

Hi @Kaz61,

Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

There are options for front opening bricked in letterboxes such as this Lazio Aluminium (Front Opening) or this Allora Front & Back (Front Opening) which can be used with this Sandleford 203 - 500mm Brick In Letterbox Sleeve. Unfortunately, the front opening letterboxes will have to be special ordered, so I suggest heading to your local store's Special Orders desk for their assistance with ordering.

The telescopic sleeve allows the depth of the sleeve to be altered to suit the depth of the cavity in the bricks.

Once the letterbox is in place, you can stick it in place with Parfix Clear All Purpose Silicone.

Let me know what you think and if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Jacob
