I have broken the pressure outlet connection on my Gerni 5000 high-pressure
washer. Can this be repaired?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @I-am-eer. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about repairing a Gerni pressure washer.
That really depends on how and where it has broken and whether a replacement part is available. It's a bit hard to tell from your image what is going on. I understand that if it's broken inside the unit, you might not be able to picture it well. Could you show us the piece that has broken off?
If the unit is still under warranty, I’d recommend taking it to your local store with your proof of purchase for assessment. Otherwise, we may be able to order a replacement part for you once we establish what needs replacing.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
Thank you for your reply@MitchellMc,
I no longer have that piece, but I hope this picture helps. The broken piece looked similar to the right one in this picture.
Hello @I-am-eer
It appears to be a very clean break; do you still have the other part that broke off? Do you still have the broken piece that came off the Gerni? If you do, can you please post a photo of the broken end. It will tell us if the piece got pulled out or if it broke off from the main body.
I also recommend following my teammates suggestion of finding out if your pressure washer is still under warranty. If it is, I suggest taking it to your local store with your proof of purchase for assessment.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
