Weed killer stain on concrete wall - ideas for easy removal? Don’t see anything in the previous questions about weed killer specifically.
Hi @RLC,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community and thank you for your question.
For fresh stains, start by mixing warm water with dish soap and scrubbing the affected area using a scrubbing brush. If the stain persists, create a paste using baking soda and water, apply it to the stain, let it sit for 15–30 minutes, then scrub and rinse thoroughly.
Alternatively, a solution of equal parts cleaning vinegar and water can be sprayed onto the stain. Allow it to sit for about 10 minutes before scrubbing and rinsing; vinegar can neutralize and lift discolouration effectively.
For tougher stains, consider using 30 Seconds Outdoor Cleaner Concentrate. Apply the solution to the stain, let it sit for 30 minutes, then scrub and rinse.
If these methods do not fully remove the stain, it may have chemically altered the paint. In such cases, repainting the wall may be the only solution.
Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
