Hi all. Was wondering how do I remove dried tile adhesive from the tile face? I forgot to clean the tiles face before the adhesive dried up.
Ive tried to use a brush and some vinegar. However doesn't appear to work.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Soda. It's fantastic to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about removing adhesive from tiles.
If you could post a photo of the tiles, that would give our members a better idea of the amount of adhesive on their surface and help them offer useful solutions. Also, can you let us know the type of tile adhesive you've used, as the type will determine the best method of removal? To confirm, is this the tile adhesive on the surface, or the tile grout?
If these are glazed tiles, you'll need to be quite careful so as not to scratch up the surface. You can try some hot soapy water and the brush, or if you have no luck, you can gently use a non-scratch scouring pad to try and dislodge the material. A plastic scraper might come in handy too.
I'll be looking forward to hearing further details and seeing the issue. Please let me know if you have any questions.
