How to patch brickwork after removing a ramp?

Hi,

We recently had a ramp removed from the side of the house and it’s left a bit of a mess! I’m hoping there is something I can patch the holes with before bagging over all the bricks to tidy it all up?

Any suggestions of products to use would be great please!

Thank you!

Re: How to patch brickwork after removing a ramp?

Hello @el1

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about patching your brickwork.

I suggest using either a Dingo 10KG Structural Mortar Repair Bag or Sika 20kg Sika MonoTop-352NFG Structural Repair Mortar. These mortar products can be built up to fill in gaps and holes in your brick wall. It will have a flat finish on its surface, but you can create brick lines using a Kango 10mm/13mm Brick Jointer, but you'll need to have a steady hand to make sure it lines up with the rest of the bricks. You also have the choice of leaving it flat and just bagging the bricks.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric
