How to paint a resin garden ornament?

What would be the best paint to use for painting a resin garden ornament? Is there. particular varnish I would need to use for outdoors? Any ideas 💡 appreciated.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Gillyoz. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about painting resin.

There's not a lot of paints that are specifically designed for resin. Are you after a single colour or multiple colours? If it's just a single colour, you could use Dulux Weathershield, which can be tinted to a variety of colours, or for multiple colours, you can use spray paint. No varnish would be needed over the top of the paint.
