Any suggestions on best way to cover and protect the pool pump from the harsh Perth 🌞 , which is only for a small concrete pool.

You might find it helpful to check out the "How to Build a Pool Pump Cover" guide, as it provides a good overview of constructing a cover using a timber frame and Merbau panels. The cover can be secured to either the wall or the floor with angle brackets for added stability. The process starts with measuring the pump and its fittings to ensure a proper fit before assembling a simple timber frame around it. Once the frame is built, Merbau panels can be cut to size and attached using hinges. This design allows the panels to be moved aside when needed, giving you full access to the pump, including the back, for easy maintenance.
