How to fix stuck gas bottle?
Hi I bought a gas bottle about 18 months ago as a back up. On the weekend attempted to open the bottle, however I can't get the wheel on the bottle to open no matter how much I try. Any suggestions?

Re: Gas Bottle
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Gribbs. It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about gas bottles.
It sounds like the valve is either stuck or faulty. Please don't force the valve or use any tools to try and open it, as damaging the valve is a safety risk. If this were one of our SWAP'n'GO bottles, I would suggest returning it to the store where you purchased it, ideally with your proof of purchase. Our team will be able to swap the bottle over for one that is functioning.
If you are able to let me know your closest store and when you're next available, I can call ahead and let them know you'll be coming in.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Re: Gas Bottle
Thank you for your fast reply, I bought the bottle from the Batemans Bay store. I can return this unit this coming Saturday 5th April. Do I need to ask for someone by name?

Re: Gas Bottle
Hi @Gribbs,
Please ask for Jeremy, the store manager, and he'll sort it out for you. I've filled him in on the situation, and they are more than happy to swap that for you.
