How to fix loose exterior window?
Hi all,
The bottom part of the exterior window is coming off. Looks like the adhesive that was used before I moved in is no longer working. Any products that I can you use to fix this? Thank you

Re: window
Hi @Glorz
Looks like you have some old silicone and the brown stuff liquid nails ? no matter.
Scrape the old glue off and reglue with silicoe clear it will hold the best longest. in that situation.

Re: How to fix loose exterior window?
Hi @Glorz
Just to add to the suggestion made, I recommend using Selleys 290ml Clear Storm Waterproof Gutter And Roof Sealant. Just make sure that the surface of the aluminium is clean and free of old silicone. Please note that you'll need to use masking tape to keep the panel in place while the silicone is curing. Once it cures you can remove the tape.
Please make sure to wear personal protection such as gloves and goggles when working on your repairs.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
