There is a hole in the mailbox which I need to fix. Please assist with material required and procedure to complete this task.
Hi @Rehan,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
You'll have to start by cleaning up the inside of the mailbox, so you have a flat surface to stick a patch to. This will require a combination of sanding and scraping to create a smoother surface for the patch to bond to.
Once tidied up, use a Builders Edge 100 x 100mm Plasterboard Wall Patch on the inside of the mailbox to act as a backing. You may need to cut the patch down, which can be done with some aviation snips.
When the patch is in place, use Polyfilla 500g Exterior Brick and Render Masonry to cover the patch and blend the repair in with the surroundings. Check out @Nailbag's guide on How to repair a rendered wall which will walk you through the steps.
Once the render has dried, paint it to match.
Let me know what you think and if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
