How to fix damaged external door?
I wonder if someone could please recommend the best materials to fix the door bottom pictured. This door opens to the outside. Thank you.

Re: Fixing door bottom
Hi @MGAdo,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
It looks like your entrance door has some rotting at the base of the door.
Before proceeding, we should determine the extent to which the rot has taken hold.
Start by disconnecting the hinges from the jamb. Once the door is off the jamb, lay it on a flat surface, grab a flathead screwdriver and poke the timber to assess how far the rot extends. If the area is relatively small, you can use your screwdriver to chip away the rotted timber, then use Earl's Wood Hardener to treat the rot and harden the timber.
Once treated, you can fill the void with builder's bog, before sanding and painting the door.
If you find that the rot is significant, you may need to cut out a section and screw in a new piece of timber to fit the void that is created or simply replace the door.
Hopefully, you find that the rot is localised and can be fixed with wood hardener and bog.
Let me know what you find and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Jacob
