Re: How to fix a crack on the concreted driveway

Hi @Wally47,

Thank you for your question about fixing a crack in your driveway.

No need to apologise. If you'd like, you can send your photos to our email - workshop@bunnings.com.au and we will be happy to put them up for you.

Can you describe the crack that you're dealing with?

Is it a wide and deep crack like in How to fill a joint in a concrete slab

Or a narrow one like in How to repair cracked concrete driveway?

Either way, there is a product and method that should work for you.

I'd be happy to assist further once we have a few more details.

Jacob

Re: How to fix a crack on the concreted driveway

Hi @Wally47,

Start by scraping out any debris from the crack in your driveway, making sure to remove any loose or crumbling concrete for a clean surface. Once it’s thoroughly cleaned, fill the crack with Earl's 1kg Concremate Expanding Cement, which locks into place as it cures, creating a strong, lasting bond. For the best results, dampen the crack slightly before applying the Concremate, as a bit of moisture will help it adhere better. Once it sets, you can lightly sand it smooth for a more even finish.

Regularly sealing or even painting the driveway will also help prevent new cracks from forming.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Mitchell
