How to fill large gap between window and brickwork?

I have just noticed a large gap between my bedroom window and the brickwork.  The gap starts at 1.5cm at the bottom and increases to about 2:5cm at the top.  Any ideas on how to fill the gap would be appreciated.

Hi @markymark6,

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

You're correct that the majority of expanding foams in Australia are an orangey yellow colour and I'm not 100% sure why this is.

It could possibly be because they are not intended to be visible and exposed, so the manufacturers don't put a lot of thought into colouring these products.

An interesting question.

Hi @husam,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

Unfortunately, Bunnings does not offer a sealant and caulking installation service.

If you are looking for advice on how to carry out the job yourself, I'd advise running a bead of Selleys Brick And Concrete Sealant along the line between your window frame and the bricks. You can use How To Silicone a Gap for a guide on how to apply sealants.

If you were looking for someone to carry out the job for you, I'd suggest using a service such as HiPages or True Local to find a handyman or caulking specialist that operates in your area.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
