Hi,
We've put these balustrades in and would like to cut them on an angle (follow the red line in the photo)- what is the best way to do it? We have circular saw and hand saw.
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!
Cheers,
Ting
Hi @TingHsu,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community and thank you for your question.
The simplest and easiest way to do this is to grab two clamps and a straight edge, clamp the straight edge onto the battens at the desired angle and then run a circular saw along the straight edge.
You can use these Craftright 2 Piece Quick Action Clamp alongside a Craftright 1200mm Spirit Level.
The spirit level will need to sit below the cut with the clamps oriented so they don't get in the way of the top edge which is acting as a guide for your saw.
If you don't have a circular saw, you can use a handsaw, but it will take longer.
Check out How To Cut Laminate Benchtop where they have used the same technique for a different application.
Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
