Hi, we had this patio put in a few months ago and it was built overhanging the roof a bit. There is a gap between the roof and the patio and we've only just now had rain heavy enough that I've noticed that the rain splashes off the roof tiles/solar panels onto the area below. How can I prevent this/install something to block the rain in this section. It seems to only be in the section where the solar panels are, the rest of the overhang area along that side seems to be ok.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @NDuong. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about sealing a roof gap.
It sounds like you could use some clear polycarbonate sheeting and run it from the underside of the patio roof to beneath the solar panels. You'll need to come up with a mounting solution as the angles of approach for the sheeting aren't typical. Perhaps if you mounted a timber batten to the patio roof and one near the solar panels you could screw the sheeting into those.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
