How to cover gap between fence and patio roof?

have an undercover patio (seen on right), however furniture on left constantly gets wet as rain enters on an angle between the fence and patio roof. I have seen products like the wall art piece (seen below), but think that water would still enter and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to cover this gap, while still looking appealing.

Good Afternoon  @Byron

Welcome to the Bunnings Community pages  There are a whole bunch of similar questions like yours in here that I am sure you will find something that works for you

Is that your fenceline behind the screen? Some states have rules on how close you can build anything to the fenceline.

Solution A - tho not that great a look is for waterproof covers to be used when not in use,

Solution B -  Could you install some extra battons next to your existing ones and extend the alsonite (corrorgated plastic sheets) by a little? That way you would potentially get less rain entering. I count 4 tho proarbly 5 battons you could lay some new lengths beside, have them extend over the three beams to have a nice amount of fixing to.

Hello @Byron

Allow me to welcome you as well to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about covering the gap on your patio roof.

It's fantastic that you've received excellent advice from @Dave-1. I totally agree with his recommendations, just to add to the suggestions made, I propose having a look at the Suntuf Sunlite 8mm x 610mm x 3.0m Clear Twinwall Polycarbonate Roofing and installing it on your patio roofs joist near the fence.

It will not totally cover the area from the rain, but it will reduce the amount coming in and you won't have to attach it to your fence. When combined with Dave's suggestion of using waterproof covers, it should extend the life of your outdoor furniture.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
