The beams of my colourbond carport are very dirty. I was able to clean the roof panels with a gurney, but it doesn't remove the dirt from the beams. Is there a product that you can use to remove the dirt.
Hi @Marg1962,
It sounds like those beams have accumulated some tough grime, and a bit of extra effort will likely be needed to get them looking fresh again. As you've already tried the gurney without success, I’d recommend using a mild cleaning solution. Dishwashing detergent mixed with warm water can be quite effective for general dirt, while Sugar Soap is excellent for cutting through built-up grime. Apply either solution with a bristled brush to agitate the dirt—this can help lift marks that water pressure alone can’t remove.
Since you'd likely need to work at heights to complete this job, I suggest reading this helpful guide: How to use ladders safely. If you are not confident on a ladder, I recommend you enlist the services of a professional to complete this work.
