How to choose security cameras with no on-going cost?

I want to install "no ongoing cost " security cameras. 2 off, Entry and drive way approach.

I'd recommend you take a look at the Eufy Security 2C - 2 Camera Pack Plus Homebase as it has free local storage in the homebase and zero monthly fees; it's a great standalone option that doesn't tie you to any ongoing costs. Provided your entry and driveway are within your wifi zone, it sounds like it will suit your needs.

Thank you for your suggestion.

I will certainly look at it The Entry is no problem ,the driveway

may need a "WiFi extender". I will find out.
