How to build a plant stand using an old bed frame?
I got timber frames from my old bed frame. The timber are like not the actual frame instead the one which is located underneath mattress.
Can I use that wood to build the stand?

Re: plant stand on top of ac outdoor ventilation
Hi @pravinrajr,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
I believe you are looking to use the slats from an old bed frame to build a plant stand.
Typically, for outdoor use, you would use H3 treated timber. Check out How to choose the right timber for the job for some guidance.
Yes, you can use this timber, but it is unlikely to be treated for outdoor use, so it is at a much higher risk of rot than alternatives.
If you choose to use this timber, you can seal it using exterior paint or exterior varnish to offer protection and prolong its lifetime.
Ultimately, it is not the best timber for the job, but if you are happy to accept that it will not last for 20+ years, then I would say go ahead.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Jacob

Thanks Jacob. I just finished the setup. I will paint on it to protect it.
