Re: How to build a low-level deck using decking paneling?

Hello @ameyc2

Thanks for sharing your question about building a low-level deck in your house.

The part you are looking at is the decking panel of the Good Times Decking 1113 x 555mm Merbau Single Panel Modular Decking. It works when combined with the Good Times Decking 1116 x 1116mm 70 x 45mm Base Frame Flat Packed Modular Decking. I also suggest looking at the modular decking guide- How To Install Modular Decking.

In order to give you more information, can you please tell us the distance from the concrete floor to edge of your security door rail. Once we have this measurement, we'll be able to tell you if the modular decking will fit into that space.

However, should you decide to build your own decking frame, I suggest looking at these guides - How to build a low-level deck by @Adam_W and How to build a deck by @MitchellMc. These guides will give you ideas on what you need to take into consideration when planning your own decking frame.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Eric
