Hi All
I want help to build very basic garden bed for the side of the house. It has pebbles and pavers there.
I am thinking of 50 cm high× 45 deep× 100cm long. These measurements are rough and can be adjusted easily. From the house to the fence is only narrow so not much space to work with.
I have done small projects but have not build anything .from the scratch. So I don't mind any small tips. I can easily buy one but I am hoping to build bigger and better once I know what I m doing. And what is the fun in buying one. ??
I have checked projects here but I want simpler one.
Hi @truptidave,
I'd imagine one of the following guides will be of assistance:
The mainstay of garden bed construction are sleepers. If you didn't want to concrete in posts similar to the above articles, then you can simply cut your sleeper to length and attach them together with butt joints. You could either use three 150mm wide sleepers to achieve a height of 450mm or two 200mm sleepers and one 150mm to achieve 550mm in height. Butt joining your corners and screwing through them with landscape screws is about as simple a construction as can be achieved.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
