How to best clean a ceramic tiled floor which in an outdoor covered area.

I have been regularly cleaning at our home, an outdoor tiled floor in an outdoor covered area approx 110 sq metres for many years.

Firstly I air blown the surface, then used a commercial grade dry mop. and followed by a commercial grade wet mop with water from a bucket.

Whilst I get a good result by this method I am looking to make the task easier and less time consuming.

I still expect I may need to air blow the surface and dry mop, however the options for the water wash process I am seeking suggestions.

For example as a starting point there is a Ryobi One +18v HP Brushless Wet & Dry Hard Floor Cleaner. Will this do the job and have enough battery time to complete the task. Another option could be a steam mop, I  would like to be convinced that a robotic cleaner would do all the work for me. I have 2 areas to clean. Hi @Razor20,

The RYOBI 18V ONE+ HP Brushless Wet and Dry Hard Floor Cleaner would be a great fit for your outdoor tiled area. It vacuums and mops in one go, making the job faster and more convenient compared to traditional mopping. The separate clean and dirty water tanks ensure you're always cleaning with fresh water, and the wide roller helps tackle dirt and debris efficiently.

For an area of 110 square metres, you might find you’ll need to pop the battery on charge partway through or consider a second battery to get the job done in one go.

While robotic cleaners can be handy, they often struggle to navigate around chair and table legs, which can leave some areas untouched. For a space with lots of furniture, a more hands-on approach like the RYOBI cleaner is likely to give you more consistent results.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Mitchell
