Hey,
Just wondering what would be a good method to attached galvanized steel stringers to brick? They're solid brick, our deck area is bring and I'm wanting to use these to replace the stairs.

Hello @GlennD
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about attaching stringers to your brick wall.
I propose looking at using the Ramset 300ml Chemset UltraFix Plus in combination with Ramset M10 x 130mm Galvanised Chemset Stud. This anchoring system does not put any stress on the bricks when compared to Dynabolts or steel expansion anchoring systems.
Here is a handy step-by-step guide: Ramset UltraFix PLUS Chemical
Let me call on our experienced members @Dave-1 and @Nailbag for their recommendations.

Good Evening @GlennD
Ive never tried chemical fixing It really does seem to do a good job. I would use some brick concrete screws Ramset 12 x 100mm Galvanised AnkaScrew Masonry Anchor or 10mm sized ones. I would also make sure you footing is solidly in place (concrete slab, even if its just poured for the base of the steps) so no movement will put strain on any bolts.
