Hi all,
I am looking to attach some shade cloth to our wooden fences to gain a bit of privacy as were next to a thoroughfare and get a bit of foot traffic.
I was looking at using either T50 staples of 18GA narrow crown staples. Don't have either so looking to buy, hopefully, something from the Ryobi range to get the job done.
Thanks in advance,
Jon
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @jono5. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about attaching shadecloth.
I apologise for the delay in my reply.
For attaching shade cloth to your wooden fences, I'd recommend going with the 18GA narrow crown staples. These provide significantly stronger holding power than the T50 staples and are available in 10-38mm depths, which will help ensure your shade cloth stays in place.
The Ryobi 18V ONE+ 18GA Narrow Crown Stapler would be a great tool for the job, offering ease of use and the power you need to secure the cloth firmly. It’s compatible with Ryobi’s ONE+ system, so if you already have Ryobi tools or are looking at investing in some, it’ll fit right into your collection.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
