Hello
We purchased some matrix fence extensions to improve privacy after installing an outdoor deck. We have a colorbond fence and are having a bit of trouble working out how to attach them.
Our fence panels are 2400mm wide, the extensions 1800mm. As recommended the installation legs should be 1800-2000mm apart. This would leave them in the centre of the fence and leaning over slightly. Is there another way we could do this placing them 2400mm apart and bracing the panel somehow in the middle?
Thanks

Was the extension design available in either 2410mm or 2400mm? These would give the project a much cleaner look to it. You could then place your extension legs at the ends mounted in the fences posts. If you're going to have the legs at the end of the panel, you'll need to purchase additional legs to brace the panel in the middle. If you don't want the leg in the middle, you could potentially screw through the bottom of the panel straight into the top rail of the Colorbond fence frame along the panel's length. This should be enough to hold the panel rigid.
