Hi could I get some tips if this door is fixable please? What products would I need to buy? Or do I need to replace the whole door.
Thankyou
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @renney. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about repairing a door.
Unless you have some fairly advanced D.I.Y. skills, it would be my opinion that the easier option would be to replace the door. You'll see in this helpful guide that repairing a hole in a flat door is very achievable: How to repair a hole in an internal door. However, given the location of that damage right on the profile and the textured coating, an invisible repair would be next to impossible to achieve. You could certainly try to follow the guide and recreate the profiled front, but it will be difficult. It would be possible to fill the area and sand the bog into the correct shape, but that will leave a smooth repair area. You could try adding the texture to the bog, but I'm unsure how convincing that will be.
By the time you purchase the filler, sandpaper, primer and paint, you could be close to the price of a new door.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
