I have an egg chair that always used to be inside (except for one occasion where it rained and a tiny bit of rust started so it came back inside). Now I have moved and there is no room for the chair inside so it has to be outside - not quite in the elements - as I have a small covered area but it can still get wet. What do I use and how do I stop my chair from going rusty? Thanks.
PS - it is very sentimental this was our last joint Xmas present before he died.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @mandyg. It's a pleasure to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about protecting exterior furniture.
Can we please start by you showing our helpful members some pictures of the chair? Some closeups of the already rusted section would be really helpful for our members to understand the situation better so they can provide an informed solution.
I'll be keening awaiting the images so I can assist, especially since this is such a sentimental piece of furniture.
