Deck Makeover Using Garden Edging

Deck Makeover Using Garden Edging

We wanted to stain a cabin deck but also cover a bit of an unsightly edge along the side. I wanted it to be as labor "unintensive" as possible and after thinking about it decided to use a garden edging. I found a Specrite merbau garden border at Bunnings and thought why not give it a try? So, after first staining the deck and little stairs I applied the border to the edge of the deck. I think it looks finished now and I'm really pleased with the result😁

Re: Deck Makeover Using Garden Edging

What a fantastic, innovative idea @daniknight4 ! Using the SpecRite garden edging to create a neat, finished look along the deck’s edge was a clever choice, and the result looks amazing. It’s great to see how a simple, low-effort solution can make such a big difference.

Well done on a job that’s both creative and practical.
