Jack saw a DIY Putt Putt Course on TV.
He decided to make one to give to his uncle.
We started our project by making a cardboard prototype.
We had to redo the holes because we accidentally put them in the wrong place.
Then, we worked out what tools and materials we would need and got to work.
We are all very happy with the final result. Jack tested it out to make sure it worked.
Wood, glue, nails, and paint.
Ryobi Cordless circular saw
Ryobi Cordless sander
Ryobi Cordless Drill
Ryobi Cordless jigsaw
Hammer
Corner clamps
Steel set square
Carpenters pencil
Step 1: We made a prototype out of cardboard to check the size and solve any problems.
Step 2: Source materials and tools we need for the project.
Step 3: Measure timber (twice) and cut (once).
Step 4: Sand and paint
Step 5: Draw and cut holes using Pencil, marker, and cordless jigsaw
Step 6: Glue and nail together
Step 7: Touch up with paint
Blue house paint and paintbrush
Step 8: Test it out using a DIY Putt Putt golf club
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @JacksProjects. We're so pleased to have you join us.
What a great idea to make a cardboard prototype first.
I hope Jack has lots of fun with the completed game. Perhaps you could also get some artificial turf like @Fergus used in this D.I.Y. mini golf project.
