I am hoping for advice on best way to connect channel drain to downpipe. Will need to cut final piece to size and then wanting to enable drain and downpipe to flow into stormwater. Struggling to get a plumber and the rains are here. Any guidance is appreciated.
Hello @KellR
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about connecting your down pipe to the channel drain.
To prevent the water from splashing onto the channel drain, I suggest putting in a Holman 90mm 90° Female And Female PVC Stormwater Elbow and sitting it into the channel drain. You'll need to trim the channel drains cover top to allow the pipe to pass through and sit inside of it.
Another option is to install a drain pit to catch the fall from the down pipe and let it drain out the channel drain.
If you need further assistance, please let me know.

Hi Eric
Thanks for your guidance. Just to clarify, the water will be flowing from the channel drain and needing to join the downpipe to access storm water pipes. Is there a way I could cut the downpipe and connect thhe two or add a stormwater grate so water can flow from both?
Thanks again
Kellie
Hello @KellR
To literally join the down pipe to the channel drain you can use an Everhard EasyDRAIN End Cap. But to flow from both sides, you can use an Everhard EasyDRAIN Polymer Rainwater Pit Case in combination with Everhard EasyDRAIN Leaf Basket To Suit Rainwater Pit.
However, I encourage you to have a look at the Easydrain parts as you might find a configuration that is more suitable for your needs.
If you need further assistance, please let me know.
