I would like to lay pebbles on the below area. My question is if I lay pebbles it might fall to drain. Is there any suggestions to lay pebbles in this area. Thank you

Re: Can I lay pebbles over storm water drain?

Hi @nithinitteera,

A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community and thank you for your question.

If you use larger stones, you shouldn't have any issues with them falling between the gaps in the grate and water will still be able to flow between them.

Alternatively, assuming your drainage pit is 300x300mm, you could swap the grate for an Everhard Leaf Basket, fill the drop-down section with stones and then spread your stones over the surface. Having the stones already in the basket will stop the movement that can cause the stones to fall through.

Let me know what you think.

Jacob
