If you'd like to make something similar to @ponting72's excellent project, Bunnings has instructions for building a D.I.Y. bin storage unit. I have also attached a video below.

I hope that helps, but feel free to post more about your needs and/or what you would like to build and other community members should be able to offer more specific advice.
