Hi All,
Appreciate all advice. I am a complete novice.
My 1st level bedroom balcony tiles appear to need sealing of some sort, particularly between the tiles. What products should I look at to apply in between the tiles?
There’s moss growing between the tiles which I can manually remove. If I look under the balcony from ground floor I can see the paint peeling, so I believe I moisture is coming through the balcony tiles.
Thank you
Hi @zaheerdalal,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community.
Unfortunately, it looks like the under-tile waterproofing membrane is compromised which means you will have to contact a licensed professional as they will have the knowledge of the relevant Australian Standards.
Repairing the membrane would require the tiles being removed and an assessment completed. Once the leak is identified the membrane will need to be repaired and the tiles re-laid. There are no easy fixes that you could D.I.Y. with the tiles in place.
I suggest looking for a licensed waterproofing specialist in your area. You can find contractors like this on websites like Hipages or True Local.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to get in touch.
